Meridian fremviste ved CES 2006 deres nye version af G91 DVD.

Fra at være bare en dvdafspiller er den nye version G91 nu fyldt med et par ekstra features. Den findes i 2 versioner - En med alm. AM/FM tuner (G91A) og G91A-DAB, som naturligvis indeholder DAB Radio. Begge modeller indeholder en 2 kanals preamp og er naturligvis stadig en DVD Video og Audio afspiller. Der er mulighed for at sende signalet i surround via den digitale udgang, hvis man ønsker 5.1 eller over. Audio CDs, MP3 CDs, Video CDs, DVD Video and DVD Audio discs. Video delen er hellere ikke på den helt lade side, den kan konvertere til 1080P og har et hav af indgange: S-Video, Composite, Component Video og HDMI.
