Azur 840A er navnet på den nye forstærker fra det engelske landskab.

Den nye sag fra Cambridge anvender hvad de kalder en hel ny class - Class XD, som står for "crossover displacement". Det gør det muligt at køre class A helt nede ved det lave, hvorefter den langsomt går over til en modificeret Class B, når den når de høje styrker. Ren klasse B har ifølge cambridge audio den fordel at den ikke har så høj forvrængning som klasse AB har ved høje styker. For hjemmebio folk der ønsker lidt bedre stereo del, men stadig ønsker surround, har 840A'eren også lidt at byde på, da den har et fixed input hvor man bypasser forforstærkeren, så man kan bruge effektdelen i surrounden også. 840A'eren levere 120W til hver kanal i 8ohm og 200watt i 4ohm. Den vejer små 15kg. Den vil være mulig at få i sort eller sølv og ankommer med den nye slim-line remote control. Specifikationer:
